How to insert an external audio file in a ppt slide

1. Open the presentation and select the slides you want to insert audio into. On the Insert tab of the Ribbon, in the Media group, click the Down Triangle button on the audio button to select the Audio on PC option on the Open Drop-down list, as shown in Figure 1.

2. Open the Insert Audio dialog box, select the audio file you want to insert, and then click the Insert button, as shown in Figure 2. At this point, the audio file is inserted into the slide, and the audio icon and the playback control bar appear on the slide, as shown in Figure 3.

Attention

To remove the audio from the Insert slide, simply select the audio icon and press the DELETE key to remove the icon.
