How to install bt3 on a USB flash drive/SD card

Install the bt3 tutorial on the USB flash drive/SD card (required to crack the wireless route signal password)

I wrote a post a few days ago about how to use bt3 to crack the routing signal (Click here to view). In order to attract attention, I placed it in the win area. In that post, I installed bt3 on the d partition of the hard disk. At that time, I also wanted to install bt3 on the USB flash disk. As a result, the USB flash disk was too bad, too old, and too slow to be installed successfully.

I found a 1g SD card again this time, and successfully installed bt3 on the SD card on the H machine. below is my sharing.

Note: The H Nic is ralink rt2790, which can be driven on bt3 (the driver module needs to be downloaded separately), or spoonwep can be used for listening, but injection is not supported, so it cannot be cracked. I only have H of this machine, so I will only introduce how to install bt3.


Hardware preparation: One SD card or one USB flash drive with a capacity greater than 1 GB, one laptop or one desktop.

Software preparation:


1. bt3 optical disc version or U disk version of the ISO image (Thunder is easy to find, if the following link can not be downloaded, and then find a thunder), the normal should be 700 or 800 m appearance: http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/backtrack/bt3-final.iso

2. flashboot green non-toxic enhanced version (online is difficult to find, usually reported virus, although it is a false positive, but the use of uncomfortable, I do not report the virus): In the flashboot directory in the http://ddduck3000.ys168.com, download the flashboot green, non-toxic and enhanced version.

3. syslinux easy to modify:



Production process:


1. Run the flashboot green, non-toxic and enhanced version, and click "Next" after setting as follows ":


Select "Create a copy of the bootable disc to the Flash Drive" for "disk creation type ";

Select "load image file from local computer or local area network" for "CD or image file source", and click "Browse" to set the ISO image path.

On the "select output type" Page, set the disk drive, that is, the drive letter of your USB flash drive.

Remove the check mark before retain disk data first in the format type of the target USB disk, and then select the USB-ZIP startup mode.

Click the "finish" button to start making the bt3 USB flash drive. After the USB flash drive is completed, the message "done" is displayed ".
















2. After making flshboot, you must enter the USB flash drive directory and rename the bt3 folder to bt3 in upper case (this is very important ).






3. Use syslinux to build Linux boot on the USB flash disk.

Decompress the downloaded syslinux package and use NotePad to open setup. BAT (the method is in setup. right-click bat and choose notepad to open it.) Add a space and your USB flash drive letter (do not forget the colon) to the back of syslinux. For example, if your USB flash drive is on the E drive, the added content should be as follows:

Then save and close. Double-click to run Setup. BAT (no prompt is displayed.

Finally, check whether the ldlinux. SYS file is 11 kb under your USB flash drive. If yes, the file is successful. If yes, you need to check for errors.

4. Restart the machine, set it to boot from the USB flash disk in bios, or press ESC without stopping the boot until the Startup Device selection menu appears, and select start from the USB flash disk device.
