How to install dual systems for MAC computers-image and text descriptions: Apple Computers are becoming increasingly popular in the new era, but they are sought after. The use of mac systems is always less convenient than that of windows, this article describes how to use the Boot Camp assistant provided by Apple to install MSWindows OS.
Step 1 first use Boot Camp to split the disk
Click "go" in the Finder toolbar and select "utility" in the pop-up menu ":
In the open utility pane, select the Boot Camp Assistant Program under the utility Folder:
Run the BootCamp program and open the first step in the "BootCamp assistant" pane. This is the introduction of BootCamp. You can click "continue" to go to the next step:
In this step, it is an important step to partition the System of the MS windows operating system to be installed from the current hard disk. You can use a 32 GB partition, or even split the partition. You can also drag a small dot in the middle to divide the partition as needed, depending on the usage. Windows 7 requires more space than Windows XP. If you want to install more programs in Windows, we recommend that you add more points, but generally 50G should be enough:
After the size is determined, click the "partition" button in the lower right corner to start partitioning. A user-friendly progress bar is displayed. Unlike WINDOWS, partitions are only waiting:
Wait a moment. After the partition is complete, switch to the "start to install Windows" interface and prompt you to insert the System Disk:
After the system disc is inserted, click the start installation button in the lower right corner. The system will automatically restart later.
After restarting and correctly reading the disc, you will be directed to the familiar Windows Installation interface.
Step 2 install Windows OS
After restarting the partition page, you must select the BOOTCAMP partition and click "Driveoptions (advanced:
On the next page, click "Format" to Format the partition into NTFS:
The subsequent steps are the same as those for MS Windows installation. Wait until the installation process is completed until the Windows desktop appears:
Step 3 install the driver for Windows
After the system is installed, do not install the integrated driver if you are prompted to install the driver;
Drive the Apple system optical drive that comes with the Apple Computer, so that the system will automatically install the bootcamp driver, and the setup.exe program in the dual-optical drive:
Open the welcome boot camp Installer:
In the "Boot Camp" window, click "Next", as shown in;
Then, click "Next" to install all the drivers and software;
In the last step, we recommend that you select the "apple software update (windows)" check box:
Click "Install" to start installation, as shown in;
After the installation is complete, the machine restarts automatically and enters the Windows operating system;
After entering the windows system, we recommend that you run the Apple Software Update Software to Update the driver:
When you need to switch the system later, you can press and hold the ALT key during the boot, the system selection function will pop up:
Press the arrow keys on the keyboard, select the system, and press the Enter key to enter the corresponding system.
