After a day of hard work, I finally got it done. post an article to summarize it.
I. Software and tool preparation
We need the following tools for installation:
● Securable: used to check whether your computer supports MAC system installation.
● VMware-workstation7.14: Use a virtual machine to add additional operating systems to the current system.
● Snow leopard ISO: iantares osx86 10.6.5 v3.2 simplified and simplified integrated version
● Boot ISO: Darwin. ISO or rebel EFI. ISO
● Hash calculator: hash_1.0.4_xiazaiba.exe
First, we need to download and install VMware. Then, we need to install the ISO for snow leopard. Here we use donghuang. Secondly, we need to guide the ISO and we can install snow leopard through the guidance ISO, and boot it after the installation is complete. The above lists Darwin and rebel EFI, which can be used theoretically. Because I use Darwin, I will use it by default. Finally, it is the hash calculator, the hash code is displayed on the download page to check whether the snow leopard ISO is correctly downloaded.
II. Environment Testing
Not every machine can install Mac OS. I checked it online and needed CPU support for Virtual Technology (VT) or something. The general method is to use securable.exe to check whether you are qualified. It is my test result. If you are the same as me, you can install snow leopard. If your CPU supports virtualization, but the test fails, you need to set the cpu vt option on the BIOS. I have not done this. If you need it, Google it.
3. Create a virtual machine
OK. Now let's start the installation. First, open VMware and choose new virtual machine.
(1) select standard configuration
(2) Browse Darwin. ISO. Note that we recommend that you use English for all paths. If you use Chinese, errors may occur.
(3) selecting the OS for the freeBSD-64
(4) The Virtual Machine name is written as Mac OS, with a hard disk of more than 16 GB.
(5) custom hardware
Click customize hardware to go to the configuration page.
It is recommended that the memory be greater than 512. 1 GB is recommended. Remove a floppy disk, change the number of CPUs to 2, and select intel VT-X or AMD-V, as shown in
4. Modify the virtual machine configuration file
After the VM is created, close VMWare, find the address of the VM you created, and open ***. vmx. This is the virtual machine configuration file. After opening it with notepad, a bunch of attribute names and values appear.
Find the following content and change it to red. If not, add it to the bottom of the file.
Monitor. virtual_mmu = "Software"
Monitor. virtual_exec = "hardware"
Paevm = "true"
SMC. Present = "false"
Guestos = "darwin10-64"
Finally, save the file.
V. Running virtual machines
Re-open VMware and start the Virtual Machine. VMWare will automatically run the Darwin. ISO file you Just configured and wait for a while to enter the screen. I don't know why there are so many errors, but it does not affect the subsequent installation, so don't worry. In the lower-right corner of the page, right-click the disc and connect and settings will appear. Select Settings, browse to the ISO of snow leopard, and then click Connect. The above action is equivalent to placing the installation disk of the snow leopard into the optical drive, and then close the optical drive. Finally, click in the black box, that is, activate the virtual machine, and enter C on the keyboard to start installation. (PS: Use left CTRL + ALT for switching between virtual machines and PCs)
6. Install the MAC system
In a short time, the system will go to the Apple interface. Once you wait patiently, a language interface appears to let you choose, for example.
I select Chinese and click the button in the lower right corner to continue. The interface will appear in a short time, but we have to wait patiently for a while and wait until the toolbar on the interface appears. Click utility and select disk tool. The disk tool is used to format the hard disk.
Click disk tool. The page is displayed. Perform operations in the following order. Select the disk, click the partition, select "1 partition", name it in English, and click Apply. The system will pop up the confirmation information. Just confirm it.
After formatting is complete, you can install it. After selecting the formatted hard disk, click the Custom button in the lower left corner to select the most important operation and installation options.
VII. Selection of Installation Options
This step is very important, because I have not previously performed the installation option operation, resulting in repeated installation for no less than 10 times ~~~
After you click customize, a list is displayed, allowing you to select the files you want to install or the necessary configurations. The first is the boot item in the Bootstrap. After expansion, you need to check the first three items.
Then there is aserebln v1.1.9 under the boot device. We recommend that you select it.
Next is the third-party kernel, select Coco Kernel
Then the video card
Sound Card
I forgot the NIC. The standard is to select according to your machine configuration and try to make mac recognize your hardware.
PS2 (Serial Port keyboard or mouse)
USB
After all the configurations are complete, click OK. Then, return to the previous page, select the hard disk, and click Install. The next step is to wait patiently.
8. re-import the boot driver ISO
After the installation is successful (it doesn't matter if the installation fails. I have seen someone on the internet saying that the installation has failed, but it can also be used), the system will prompt you to restart. Next you need to switch out from the Virtual Machine (CTRL + ALT), right-click the disc, and choose disconnect. Right-click the CD, select Settings, browse to Darwin. ISO, and restart the VM.
9. Run Mac OS
If your RP is good enough, you should have installed it as I did. If you can see the following welcome page, it indicates that the installation is successful. The next step is to set the Apple ID and so on. In addition to registering system users, all the operations will continue (that is, ignore ). After all the settings are complete, wait and you will be able to see the Mac OS interface.
10. Summary
According to the above process, I think I have already explained my work. If you have any unclear information about the above descriptions, you can leave a message. I just had a hard time, so you asked me if I was too technical. I don't know, but Google it myself.
I would like to emphasize that not everyone can install snow leopard successfully according to the above process. However, I can give you some experience. If you cannot boot or start the installation after the installation is successful, it should be that your installation options are not configured. Take a closer look at the content of the installation options. Google it, I guess it's almost the same.
Well, I have already finished talking about what I want to say. Let's go over your snow leopard.
