Currently, we can download msdn Win8 from the Internet. Unlike the previous Windows installation, the product key must be entered during Windows 8 installation (excluding the Enterprise Edition ). In fact, we only need to make some adjustments to the Win8 image file to skip the key input during the installation process.
We recommend that you use ultraiso to modify the image file, which ensures the controllability of the image file.
Open the image file with ultraiso and add the file named ei. cfg under its Sources folder. The content of this file is as follows:
[Editionid]
Core
[Channel]
Retail
[VL]
0
Editionid indicates the product version, which can be core (core edition), Pro (Professional Edition), enterprise (Enterprise Edition), or retail (Retail Edition) or OEM; the value of VL can be 0 or 1, where 1 is a batch license.
At last, save the image file and make sure that the content following the CD directory is displayed as a start UDF.
