How to install FreeBSD from a hard drive

Premise:
1. You have a hard disk, there is no installation operating system does not matter, but I assume that your hard disk is already installed on the Windows (hard disk on the method of no system is very simple, and have the operating system basically the same, too lazy to type, do not say)
2. You have a boot operating system software, GRUB4DOS,GRUB4LINUX,ISOEMU, etc., I am using the grub4dos
3. Download the BSD DVD ISO, download Bootonly.iso
Okay, you can start installing now.
1. Extract Grub4dos Grldr and menu.lst to C drive (FAT32 format, other does not guarantee success)
2. Add c:\grldr= "XXX" to the boot. ini file in Windows

3. Place the Bootonly.iso on the C drive and unpack the BSD DVD ISO to the C drive (note: After the ISO is unpacked, it cannot be placed under the folder and must be placed in the C packing directory)

Or in the future from the FTP installation, through the network, will install the required files on the FTP server, or use the domestic FTP mirror site. 4. Restart the machine
5. Go to the Gurb menu
(The following ISO file name I do not bother to write the full name, you write it all)
6. Type the command map--mem (ha0,0)/bootonly.iso (HD32)
7. Type the command map--hook
8. Type the command Chainloader (HD32)
9. Type the command boot

OK, you should be able to start the installation, select "Use DOS Partition" when selecting the installation media, do not select "an existing file system"

If you are installing from a network, select the FTP site.
