How to install IE7 in Chinese Windows XP

Note System backup before operation, remember

1. Perform "Start-run", enter "regedit" and return!

2. Found in the registry: Hkey_local_machinesystemcontrolset001controlnls, on the "Nls" right click! Select Export, named "Bf01.reg" Save!

Open "Nls" under "Language" to modify the "default" and "InstallLanguage" of the key values, are changed to "0409"! Again open "Nls" under "Locale", modify the "default", the key value to "00000409" (my Chinese XP default is)! ~

3. Found in the registration table: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCONTROLSET002CONTROLNLS, on the "Nls" right click! Select Export, named "Bf02.reg" Save!

Open "Nls" under "Language" to modify the "default" and "InstallLanguage" of the key values, are changed to "0409"! Then open "Nls" under the "Locale", modify the "default", the key value changed to "00000409"! ~

4. Reboot, check and hold F8, select "Safe Mode" into xp! ~

5. Then you can install it! ~

After loading, double-click the registry key (Bf01.reg,bf02.reg)!~

(Be sure to return the registry key you just exported to the registry, or you may not be able to go to XP because your activation information has changed))

6. It's done! Reboot required update system may be slow to enter, please wait:
