How to install SmartGit/HG 6.0.0 for Ubuntu and its derivative versions

SmartGit/HG is an open-source, cross-platform SVN graphics client that supports Git and Mercurial and runs on Windows, Linux, and mac OS X systems. The latest available version of SmartGit/HG 6.0.0 has been released recently.

Install Ubuntu and the derivative system, open the terminal, and run the following command:

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: eugenesan/ppa
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install smartgithg

Debian user installation command:

Sudo apt-get install gdebi
Wget syntevo.com/download/smartgithg/smartgithg-6_0_0.deb
Sudo gdebi smartgithg-6_0_0.deb

Uninstall command:

Sudo apt-get remove smartgithg
