How to install the Kernel 3.12.15 on Ubuntu and its derivative versions

Kernel 3.12.15 is an update of Linux Kernel 3.12.X series. This version has been released recently. You can update your favorite boots. This version has made some minor improvements.

Without PPA, this tutorial mainly downloads the DEB installation package command, applicable to Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Elementary OS and its derivative versions. 32-bit system and 64-bit system installation command:
32-bit System
Download the installation package command:

wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.12.15-trusty/linux-headers-3.12.15-031215_3.12.15-031215.201403260835_all.deb
wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.12.15-trusty/linux-headers-3.12.15-031215-generic_3.12.15-031215.201403260835_i386.deb
wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.12.15-trusty/linux-image-3.12.15-031215-generic_3.12.15-031215.201403260835_i386.deb

Installation command:

sudo dpkg -i linux-image-3.12*.deb linux-headers-3.12*.deb

64-bit System
Download the installation package command:

wget kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.12.15-trusty/linux-headers-3.12.15-031215_3.12.15-031215.201403260835_all.deb

Installation command:

If any problem occurs, run the following command to uninstall the kernel:

sudo apt-get remove linux-image-3.12.15* linux-headers-3.12.15*
