I found a post online because I don't have time. I need to modify it.
To install the image on a hard disk, first load the image with Alcohol 120%, or put it into a engraved CD, and then copy the corresponding system files (there are three folders in the system directory of the CD, three Versions of XP respectively), put it on the hard disk, and then do as follows:
(1) make a portable floppy disk;
(2.exe find smartdrv.exe (this file is available in the WIN98 system, you can also search for it on the Internet. Put it on a floppy disk .)
(3) create the file setup. bat in the disk and edit the command line:
Smartdrv.exe
Smartdrv.exe
X: i386winnt/u: X: i386UNATTEND. TXT/s: X: i386/t: Z:
(Note the direction and space of the diagonal line)
Disk X represents the Logical Disk where the installation folder I386 of Windows xp is located, and disk Z represents the Logical Disk on which the Windows xp system is installed,
UNATTEND. TXT is an unattended Automatic Installation response File Created in advance using the Windows Installation manager.
(4) temporarily change the CMOS settings of the motherboard to boot from a floppy disk, hard disk, or disc;
(5) boot with this disk. After the floppy disk is started, enter setup. bat and press Enter. Be patient when copying files.
Note: The installation on the hard disk can achieve a serial number-free installation. However, you cannot install the software. to install the software, you can install the CD on windows at any time.
