Since you use a USB flash drive to install the Win8 system, you must first turn your USB flash drive into a super USB flash drive that supports WinPE startup. I recommend two of the most common WinPE software, among which the general PE toolbox is installed in a variety of ways, and the Tian Yi U disk maintenance system (Tian Yi PE) can be used to create a WinPE boot U disk with one click. No matter which PE toolbox you are using, insert the USB flash disk into your computer and run one of the two WinPE software in Windows. The installation method is actually very simple. Just follow the installation prompt!

One of them is to directly decompress the Win8 Image file (ISO format) to disk d using a tool such as WinRAR, in the decompressed SOURCES folder, install. copy wim to the root directory of the D disk (this step is redundant, but I am used to this tedious but foolproof installation method at the same time ).

Install. the wim method is to load the image file using a virtual optical drive. That is to say, after loading the Win8 image with a VDM virtual optical drive in PE3.0, find install in the virtual drive letter. wim file.

After you enable the virtual optical drive of VDM, select mount and then select the Win8 image file of the USB flash drive.

Note:I tried to directly load the Win8 image file to the virtual optical drive, and then directly use Win $ Man for installation. As a result, an error occurs during the installation process, so install. wim is stored in drive D to ensure installation is safe.

Windows $ Man is a Windows system installation tool that supports installation of all versions of Windows that are still in use. Therefore, using Win $ Man to install Win8 is one of the best tools!

Open Win $ Man, select install. wim on drive D, and select Windows 8 Customer Preview (only one version is available ).

If the drive C has not been formatted or there are redundant files (not a file), Win $ Man will remind you to format the file.
