1. Download the CentOS installation disk
My computer is 32-bit, so I downloaded the i386 version of Centos-6.2-i386-bin-dvd.iso
Note: The hard disk installation version should be downloaded instead of the LiveCD version
LiveCD (CD-ROM) is a version that can be run directly on the CD, and can then be installed to the hard drive after running.
Bin-dvd (hard disk installation version) is a pure installation version, generally recommended to use this, because the LiveCD installation of many packages to download from the network, will be very slow.
After extracting the mirrored file, extract the Isolinux and images two folders, copy them to the C disk and the root of the disk where you store the mirrored files.
Note: The disk that holds the mirrored file must be a FAT32 format partition (because GRUB does not recognize NTFS).
2. Divide the disk should not be taught here. If you do not understand, you can XP that document, should be helpful to you!
Download Disktool Partition Assistant
This tool is mainly used for hard disk partitions, not necessarily with this tool, as long as you can partition it.
Start Disktool, select one of your disks, then click "Create Partition", divide a hard disk space, as a CentOS hard disk, click the "Submit" button on the toolbar and restart the computer to make it effective.
This time, the partitioned disk still belongs to Windows, so we need to separate it from Windows.
right mouse button computer-> management-> storage-> Disk Management, find the disk just divided, right button-> Delete volume.
3. Multi-system startup settings

After installing more than one system, it will be troublesome to start up, therefore, we need to use tools to carry out multiple system startup management, recommend EASYBCD here.
EASYBCD is a multiple system startup management tool that eliminates the tedious and lengthy commands of bcdedit.
Start EASYBCD, click Add New Entry->neogrub, and then write configuration.
After clicking on the "Configure" button, the following lines are added to the file that appears:
#启动时显示的名字, customizable
Title CentOS
#系统命令, go to the hard drive (that is, c disk) labeled 0
Root (hd0,0)
#设置文件路径
Kernel (hd0,0)/isolinux/vmlinuz
INITRD (hd0,0)/isolinux/initrd.img
4. Installation
Reboot the computer, select Neogrub Bootloader, enter the CentOS installation, select the language, select the installation file source => hard drive, select the partition where the CentOS image is located, and then follow the prompts to install it.
There is a problem with a disk partition during installation and it is recommended that you partition manually.
Here is a description of several Linux directories:
