How to make a border word

A border word is a special effect text that is often used to make a poster paper work. It uses the border and text in the color contrast, to highlight the text of the special text effect.

1. Use the new command under the File menu to create a 12x6cm RGB image file.

2. Use the Text tool to enter a "border word" of three words in the new image with a size of 120points.

3. Use the menu command "Layer/type/render" to convert the text layer to a normal layer.

4. Press the CTRL key to click the text layer in the layers panel and load the object frame (the text will be selected).

5. Double-click the linear Gradient tool in the toolbox, pop its options panel linear gradient options, and gradient the gradient mode to spectrum.

6. Use the gradient tool to drag from left to right in the image to color the text.

7. Use the menu command "Select/modify/expand" to enlarge the object frame by 6 pixels.

8. Use the menu command "Select/modify/border" to set the object frame boundary to 1 pixels.

9. In the Options panel linear gradient options, select gradient as copper, and then use the gradient tool to drag from top to bottom to color the border.

10. Press the CTRL+D key combination to cancel the selection, and then merge the layers to finish making the border word.
