How to make a call in the iOS app and ask the user to confirm

Source: Internet
Author: User

To call a phone number in an application, refer to the following code snippet:

// This will dial a call without prompting the user[[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"tel:1-800-555-1212"]];

However, it is friendly to give the user a prompt before calling. refer to the following code snippet (under iOS5.0 ):

NSString *number = @"telprompt://1-800-555-1212";[[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:number]];
Another difference is that after using "tel", our program cannot return to our own application after the call is completed, but using "telprompt, you can also go back to our own applications.
