Although Windows XP provides a Compatibility Wizard to help us run those old programs, it is not easy to use, such as many schools are still using the Turbo C, in XP run a regular flower screen. At this point, we can use the start command to solve.

In the Windows\Command folder under the Windows installation directory, there is a DOS program Start.exe, a tool that invokes DOS programs in Windows and can be used directly from a DOS prompt. Through the use of discovery, the ingenious application of it can greatly facilitate our daily work.

The command format is: Start/seperate E:\tc\tc.exe.

The "seperate" argument refers to opening up a separate space in memory to run a 16-bit program, and a parameter "shared" is to start a 16-bit program in a shared memory space.
