How to migrate Oracle RAC under VMware virtual machines

1. Environment description

Note, after moving the RAC virtual machine, we usually choose to copy (move this without trying, not knowing if there will be a problem) when we add the VM.

Second, as replication is selected, the virtual machine generates a new UUID (UUID refers to the number generated on a single computer that guarantees the uniqueness of the machine in the same virtual environment).

The MAC address as well as the network interface name also change (the original eth0 and eth1 are not available for the first time), and this modification is usually required.

Different Linux systems have different processing methods for new network interfaces. Oracle Linux and Redhat can simply rename the original deletion and rename the new network interface name to the original.

2. crs-1006/crs-0215/crs-0233 Error
