1. pdf/A Introduction
PDF/A is the ISO standard for long-term preservation of electronic archives (ISO 19005-), and is also China's national standard (GB/T23286.1-2009 ). PDF/A ensures that the archive file can be correctly presented in the content and format, regardless of the program and platform created by the file.
The PDF/a standard does not define an archiving policy, but specifies an electronic document format, which ensures that the document will be presented in a predictable and consistent manner in the future. To a certain extent, PDF/A provides a way for users to save electronic documents, which ensures the visual presentation of documents, the document is independent of the tools and system platforms used to create, save, and present documents.
