Windows7 in My Documents, My Pictures, my videos and my music and other directories are saved by default in C disk, a long time inside the file will be more and more, occupy a lot of c disk space, making the computer become more and more slow. So we need to modify the default save location for My Documents, my pictures, and so on to other partitions on my hard disk. C:usersadministratordocuments
Open My computer, go to the "C:users your username" folder, or click on your sign-in name in the top right corner of the Start menu to open your personal folders.
By default, My Documents, My Pictures, my videos, my music, and downloads are saved in this directory.
Right-click My document, open the Properties dialog box, switch to the Location tab, enter the address of the folder you want to save, such as D:my document, and then click OK to save the changes.
If the newly set folder has not yet been created, the system pops up a dialog box prompting us to select Yes.
Finally, the system also prompts us to "whether we want to move all files from the original location to the new location", and still choose "yes" here.
After you wait for the system to move all the files in my document to the new directory, you are done to modify the location where My documents are saved. Also, my pictures, my videos, my music, and the downloads of several folders can be used to modify the save location.
