Analysis: Due to Qifang Baiji software, database security adopts the most secure "hybrid mode". It is mainly used in Novell networks or peer networks, use the SPX/IP protocol and SQL Server Authentication mode.
Advantages:
Creates another security layer on Windows NT/2000.
Supports a wider range of users, such as non-Windows NT customers and Novell networks.
One applicationProgramYou can use a single SQL Server logon and password.
The following uses SQL Server 2000 on Windows 2000 as an example to modify the database that mistakenly selects the Authentication mode as "Windows Authentication Mode". The operation steps are as follows:
1. Open the Enterprise Manager, expand the server group in sequence, and right-click the server used by the software.
2. In the shortcut menu that appears, run the "properties" command to display the "SQL Server properties" dialog box. 3. Click the "Security" tab. In the "Security" option box, change "Windows only" to "SQL Server and Windows" for authentication.
3. After the settings are complete, click "OK" and the system prompts you to restart the server.
4. Click "yes" to modify the Authentication mode.
Note: The Authentication Mode for modifying SQL Server 2000 in Windows XP and Windows 2000 is the same, but in Windows 98, however, the authentication mode cannot be modified using the above methods. In Windows 98, when SQL Server 2000 is installed, the system only supports the "hybrid" Authentication mode.
2. How to change the logon password of SQL Server 2000 System Administrator sa?
Analysis: the logon password of SQL Server 2000 System Administrator SA, which is usually set when SQL Server 2000 is installed. In the database management system, the user identity can be checked by checking the password. Valid users can access the database system. The Qifang Baiji series needs to verify the SA logon password before creating and deleting the account set, so that the SA logon password is particularly important here.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Open the Enterprise Manager, expand the server group in sequence, and then expand the server.
2. Open the "Security" folder, click "Log on", right-click "sa", and run the "attribute" command.
3. The "SQL Server logon properties" dialog box is displayed, as shown in figure 4. In the "SQL Server Authentication" password field, enter the latest password.
4. Click "OK". The "Confirm Password" dialog box is displayed. Enter the logon password again.
5. Click OK to modify the SA logon password.
