First, open the MySQL console via Wamp.

Prompt for password, because it is now empty, so press ENTER directly.

Then enter "use mysql", meaning that using MySQL database, prompt "database changed" on the line.

Then enter the SQL statement for the password you want to modify "update user set Password=password (' Hooray ') where user= ' root ';", note that the semicolon at the end of the SQL statement must not be less, It's OK to suggest what's okay. (The password set here is Hooray)

Finally enter "flush privileges;", do not enter this, the operation of the password change will not take effect.

Then enter "quit" to exit.
