How to modify the language of the SharePoint Management Center
After installing the Language Pack, you can select the language when creating the website set.
However, the language of the SharePoint management center has not changed. At this time, how can we make the management center use a new language?
Follow these steps.
First go to The https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms912047.aspx to find the ID of the newly installed Language Pack, for example, the simplified Chinese is 2052.
Then, use SQL Server Management Studio to open the content database used by the Management Center site. Generally, its name is as follows:
SharePoint_AdminContent _ [GUID]
Find the Allwebs table, which contains two records.
Find the Language and Locale fields. The two values are the Language ID. Update these two values to the new Language Pack ID.
Without IISRESET, you can directly refresh the Management Center page to see the effect.
For example, my environment is changed from English to Chinese:
Note: it can only be used in the test environment. Microsoft does not support direct database modification. In the production environment, we recommend that you directly use the correct language version during installation.
