How to modify the Windows 7 logon interface Default Input method

Recently in a chance to find a problem, there is a new installation of Windows 7 computer joined the domain, the restart into the login interface, its Input method by default is set to "Microsoft Pinyin" input.

This problem will not affect the normal use of the computer. So what can be done to specify the default input method that the user wants for the Windows 7 system login interface? Many administrators will assume that the system's default input method is specified in the Control Panel. Sure, it's not a problem to do this in an earlier Windows system, but for Windows 7来 such modifications only affect the current user's configuration, not the default input method selections for the login interface. In particular, when Group Policy is configured in an enterprise, when restricting the normal user's configuration and modifying the Input method setting, the administrator uses his account to log on to the user's computer, and after the default input setting is completed, the user is found to have no effect on the modification of the default input method by using the procedure, so that the user will complain and worry. Because, not accustomed to the default input method to a large extent will affect the efficiency, but also make the user feel that the administrator is redundant.

In fact, to solve this problem, only need to add a few steps on the previous method of action on the line, the following is the specific steps:

First, in the Control Panel, click to open the Regional and language tool

Switch to the Keyboard and Language tab in the pop-up dialog box and click the "Change keyboard ..." button to open the text service and Input Language dialog box.

On the General tab of the text Services and Input Language dialog box, you can see the settings for the current default input method, and click the "Add ..." button to add a new input method.

Typically, the default input for the Chinese version of the Windows system is set to Chinese (Simplified)-American keyboard, which is not added to the "Installed Services" list. It is checked in the Open Add Input Language dialog box.

When you are finished adding, specify the custom default input method according to the Drop-down list in the default input language.

You can also delete unwanted input.

For most of the early Windows administrators, it is already possible to do so by modifying the current user's default input method for the specified input method, as described earlier. However, the login interface of the default input method is still not changed, and once it switches the user or with other users to log on this machine, the default input method will not be changed according to the changes.

To make the above configuration work in the login interface, click the "Copy Settings ..." button on the Administration tab of the Regional and Language dialog box in Windows 7.

The Welcome screen and new user Account Settings dialog box appears with the Welcome screen and system account selected at the bottom to copy the current user's default input method and location and language configuration to the login interface. Also check the "New user account" to make the default input method for new users (or new logins) the same as the current user.

Therefore, administrators only need to use their administrator account to log on to Windows 7 computers, specify the default input method, and copy the settings to the Welcome screen and new user accounts to modify the default input method for the Windows 7 logon interface.
