Author: User

Today the server added a new hard disk, the partition format after the automatic mount in the Fstab, due to Fstab settings error, resulting in a Linux reboot error and can not properly log in the system;

So let Linux enable single-user mode into the system, when modifying the/etc/fstab file, the prompt file is read-only, cannot be modified;

After users and online search for specific changes there are two ways

1. Enter Linux Single user mode

Execute root# mount-o REMOUNT,RW/

And then/etc/fstab can change it.

2, the CD into the Linux Repair mode (CD-ROM boot press F2 and then enter the Linux rescue return enter)

Then modify the Fstab

Note After entering repair mode, the Fstab path is

Vi/mnt/sysimage/etc/fstab
