An Exchange mailbox user can log on to OWA to modify the password when the ad user password expires or the administrator resets the password to the user tick

When users log on to exchange for OWA, they automatically jump to a page that modifies the password when the user must change password at next logon is selected

, but for users who do not have a mailbox for AD users, you cannot use OWA to modify the password.

In the previous period of time to do the project, the customer put forward 1 requirements: On the OWA home page to add a Change password link, to facilitate AD users arbitrarily self-change password.

The research findings are achievable and are implemented as follows:

1. The page that changed the password uses the expiredpassword.aspx that comes with the Exchange 2013 frontend, copy and paste in the same directory

and rename it to changepassword.aspx, this file expiredpassword.aspx path in the Exchange installation directory,

such as C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\v15\frontend\httpproxy\owa\auth

2. On the OWA home page login interface C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange server\v15

\frontend\httpproxy\owa\auth\logon.aspx to add a "Change Password" link, the following red code:

650) this.width=650; "Width=" 959 "height=" 318 "title=" image "style=" Padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-left : 0px;border-top-width:0px;border-right-width:0px;border-bottom-width:0px;background-image:none; "alt=" image "src = "Http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/80/4C/wKiom1c9Z2CCavihAAGEfDjpTiY757.png" border= "0"/>

After the changes are completed, the login OWA interface will have one more link, shown below

650) this.width=650; "Width=" 468 "height=" 286 "title=" clip_image001 "style=" padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px; Padding-left:0px;border-top-width:0px;border-right-width:0px;border-bottom-width:0px;background-image:none; " alt= "clip_image001" src= "http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/80/4A/wKioL1c9aEyDTcOaAABK3avedKk309.jpg" border= "0"/ >

3. Modify the form submission object in changepassword.aspx to changepassword.aspx to change the password and jump to

interface and click the link to enter the login screen, the following code:

650) this.width=650; "width=" 650 "height=" 141 "title=" image "style=" Padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-left : 0px;border-top-width:0px;border-right-width:0px;border-bottom-width:0px;background-image:none; "alt=" image "src = "Http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/80/4C/wKiom1c9Z2GBLoDlAABzoC7gUzY511.png" border= "0"/>

4. After joining the ad user regardless of whether or not there is a mailbox, click on the "Change Password" link page to modify the password without having to log in to the mailbox.
