First, the preparatory work
install water by note Universal Map Downloader, if not installed the software, you can Baidu "water by note software" to the official website download.
To install global Mapper, the version can be 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16, whereGlobal Mapperas an example.
Second, download the map
first, we need to download the Google satellite map, here to "PI" for example.
start water via note Universal Map Downloader, enter "PI" in the query location.
Click the "Search" button to see the administrative boundaries of the county, double-click within the administrative boundary to start the new task.
in the Level list, you can choose any level, but generally the city chooses level 19, the suburbs choose level 16 than the ideal, but before the choice of levels, it is best to check the online map to see if the level of data you want to download, here we take the 18 level for example. After selecting a good level, click OK to start the download.
when the download is complete, a dialog box asks if you want to export now, select Yes, and then display the Export Picture Data dialog box, as shown in.
in this dialog box, you do not need to make any settings, click the "Output" button to export the data by default parameters.
The default export path is "D:\SGDownload\ not named _ stitching [default]\l18".
Third, open the map
launch Global Mapper, select "Open Data File" and select the appropriate image data as shown in.
after a period of time, a full view of "PI" is displayed in global Mapper, as shown in.
iv. Image Processing
since the downloader automatically filters out the images outside the border, the map without maps is black and looks ugly. The workaround is to choose "Options Rastor" as shown in the raster editing feature provided by Globalmapper, select Layer control.
Pop-up dialog box, select "Display", set "Transparent color", tick "Transparent", click Apply, as shown.
after clicking "Apply", complete the settings and become transparent, as shown in the effect.
The image is now displayed in the global Mapper and is freely scaled.
