How to prevent a command prompt from being used

Under the WINDOWS2000/XP/2003/VISTA/7 system, you can run the Cmd.exe command into a command prompt window and continue to run some commands. For security reasons, the user can mask the command prompt and, at the same time, disable the run of command prompt scripts.

First go to the Group Policy Editor, expand User configuration → administrative templates → Windows components → windows Explorer, and then locate the Prohibit Access command prompt item and set it to Enabled.

If this setting is enabled, the prompt for the command prompt has been deactivated by the system administrator appears when the user attempts to open a command prompt.
