1. Do not plagiarize my achievements
The main reason why the paper is stolen is that no protection measures are taken, which makes it easy for the hacker. In fact, if you add a threshold when reading copies of a paper to others, the chances of theft will be reduced.
Convert an article into an image
Windows also provides the screenshot key-PrintScreen. If the screenshot tool is not installed in the system, take a screenshot using it.
Step 1: Use Word2007 to open the paper to maximize its display. Press the "PrintScreen" key, and the Word2007 document image will be captured on the clipboard.
Step 2: Open the "drawing" program and click "paste" in the menu. The image in the clipboard is pasted in the editing area, and click "file/Save ", in the "save as" dialog box, set the file name and save it.
PS: If the paper is long, you can use the above method to save multiple images and name the images in the order of documents, such as "paper 1" and "Paper 2 ". If someone borrows a paper from you later, you just need to copy the image and send it to him.
Turn important parts of the document into images
Generally, only some parts of a thesis are important. If you think that the above method damages the original appearance of the entire paper, it is not conducive to directly open the Word, you can also choose to turn these important parts into images. Because these images are still in Word2007 by default, the structure of the document will not change.
Open the paper in Word2007, switch to the "start" function, click the arrow icon on the right of "clipboard" on the left side of the toolbar, open the clipboard, and select the important part of the paper, press Ctrl + C. The copied content appears on the clipboard on the left of the Word interface. Click the drop-down arrow in the "paste" item in the toolbar, and select "Select paste" from the drop-down menu to open the "Select paste" dialog box, select "image (Windows Metafile)" or "image (Enhanced Metafile)" in the list (sometimes only one of these two items appears) and click "OK. Now let's take a look at it and re-paste it back into the word document. Has it become an image? Finally, delete the original text.
In the same way, you can paste all important parts into an image and save them as Word documents.
Add watermarks to documents
The purpose of adding a watermark is to mark your work as "private ownership, others do not use. If this method is used together with the above-mentioned method to convert the paper into an image or PDF file, it will play a very significant "signature" effect.
Word provides two types of watermarks: text watermark and image watermark.
Open the thesis in Word 2007, switch to the "page layout" function, and select "watermark" in the "page background" toolbar ", in the drop-down list that appears, there is a ready-made text watermark provided by Word 2007. You can directly select to use these watermarks, or click the custom watermark text link. Open the "watermark" dialog box, select "image watermark" or "text watermark", and follow the prompts to create a personalized watermark (for example, the text displayed in the watermark, directly set "XXX thesis", where XXX is your name ). After making the paper, click "OK" and then make the paper into an image or PDF file. Even if you have a thick face, publish these images or PDF documents, the watermark also indicates the real author.
2. Learn from others
Although our papers must be protected, in the actual writing process, we sometimes inevitably need to refer to other people's documents. What should we do if such materials have taken protective measures? It's easy to use the methods provided below to break through.
The text in the image or PDF is captured as usual
In Word 2003 and 2007, Microsoft provides a virtual printer Microsoft Office Document lmaging, which can be used to recognize text in images or PDF documents. However, compared with some professional OCR tools (such as "Qinghua Ziguang OCR"), this function is not recommended here. In addition, professional tools need to be installed, which is troublesome. Therefore, we recommend an online text recognition website. It can also be used to pull out text in images or PDF documents.
Step 1: Go to http://www.netocr.com/, and click "register. On the displayed page, enter "user name", "password", and other information as prompted, and click "register" to complete the registration process.
Step 2: Return to the home page, click "log on", enter the user name and password, and click "log on, on the displayed page, click Upload recognition image to go to the upload recognition page. Click browse to open the select file to be loaded dialog box, select the image to be recognized (if it is a PDF document, use the screenshot tool to capture and save the image in TIF format). Click the open button, return to the "Upload recognition" page, set basic options such as the file language to be recognized, the format of the output text, and the recognition requirements, and click the "Upload recognition" button. Wait a moment, and the recognition result will appear in the "recognition result" text box. Then, you can copy the text for use.
The blocked webpage is also copied.
Some websites prohibit users from copying the content. Right-clicking the webpage does not display a shortcut menu. Do these websites have only eye-catching documents? Of course not. In fact, there are multiple ways to break through it based on different situations.
When you right-click the page, a prompt box is displayed. Do not click the "OK" button. Right-click Other places on the page, press enter, and right-click the page. Now, can the right-click menu be used?
A prompt box for copyright information is displayed when you right-click it. Do not open the right-click button, move the mouse pointer to the "OK" button in the dialog box, and press the left button. Open the left mouse button, close the dialog box, move the mouse over the target to be copied, and then open the right-click menu.
The "add to favorites" prompt appears when you right-click the button: do not release the right-click or move the mouse, then use the Tab key of the keyboard to move to the cancel button of the dialog box, and press the space key, after the dialog box disappears, right-click it and the context menu is restored.
After right-clicking, there is no prompt: press and hold the left button to select the content to be copied. Do not release the left button, right click at the same time, and then release the left button. Right-click the menu. If it does not appear, you can also click View/source file in the menu bar of IE ". If the website does not prohibit users from viewing the source file, you can easily find the required information in the "original source" window and copy it.
