How to quickly back up a SQL Server database restore

Backing Up the database

Select the database you want to back up, right-click, select Task-Backup

Pop Up the Backup Database window and select Add

Pop-up Select Backup Destination window, click Browse, select the directory where the backup database is located, enter the file name, the suffix name input. bak, click OK, OK, backup complete

Restoring a Database

Right-click Database, select Restore files and files

Target database column Enter the database name, select the source device, click Browse Options

Click Add, select the database you want to restore, click OK

Select the Restore option, click OK, restore complete

Attention:

• When backing up, the file name suffix needs to be entered. bak
• When restoring, be aware that you cannot use an existing database name when naming the database, otherwise the restore is unsuccessful
