Clear cache data for large applications
1. By clearing the cached files of the program, the released memory space will surprise you
2. Choose Settings> Applications> Manage applications.
3. Press the Menu key and select the "sort by size" option (for Android 2.2, select the downloaded tag first ), then, you can sort the applications installed on all mobile phones according to the application size.
4. Click an application in the list. If the application has a cached file, the file size can be displayed. Click the clear cache option to release the space occupied by these cached files.
5. Some applications may cache up to several MB files, such as Google Maps, Market, browsers, and album programs. Clearing these cached files can free up considerable space.
6. Many mobile phone manufacturers pre-install their own UI programs on their mobile phones, such as HTC Sense and MOTOBLUR. If you plan to use launcher programs like LaunherPro or ADW to replace HTC Sense, you can clear or even delete HTC Sense Data Files. This operation allows your mobile phone to have dozens of MB more space.
7. In addition, Android Market also provides some applications that automatically clear cached files, such as the Quick App Clean Cache charging software. For mobile phone users who have obtained the root permission, you can download the CacheCleaner, CacheMate, and MoveCache programs from the Market to quickly and conveniently clear cached files.
Delete applications that you never use or seldom use
This is a problem many users will face. They have to endure the alarm of insufficient memory on their mobile phones and even sacrifice system performance. They are reluctant to delete applications that are never used or rarely used, this may also be an obsessive-compulsive disorder. If you delete these programs, you will find that your mobile phone has never been lost.
Move application data that can be moved to the SD card
The mobile phone running Android 2.2 allows you to install applications to the SD card. Make sure that you have installed Apps. If you support the Apps to SD card function, you must move them to the SD card, for some large software, especially game programs, the saved capacity is considerable. However, be sure to pay attention to the Widgets program, the program that binds Widgets, and the dynamic wallpaper program and those applications that need to run in the background and interact with the system. Do not move them to the SD card storage, otherwise, the program may not work properly.
If you think it is too difficult to set each program separately, you can use Apps 2 SD and SDMove to simplify the operation process. For users with strong hands-on capabilities, you can use online tutorials to set the app to be installed on the SD card by default, so that they can be used once and for all.
