How to Make DNS changes take effect quickly

OSX, chrome, and DNS

During development, some IP addresses are often bound to the domain name and need to be switched frequently. in Linux, how can I quickly modify the DNS information?

1. Use the dig command to check whether the IP address of the domain name has taken effect.

Shell $ dig grepalex.com

; Answer section:
Grepalex.com. 3600ina66. 216.100.140

2. For chrome, enter the following command in the address bar to invalidate the browser DNS cache.

Chrome: // net-internals/# DNS

3. Although the browser DNS Cache has expired, the operating system may still have a layer of DNS cache, so we can use the following command to understand the OS
DNS Cache

Shell $ sudo killall-hup mDNSResponder
