the steps to quickly start word2013 are as follows:
Step One: Disable Add-ins: the slow startup speed of Office components is largely due to the fact that there are too many default add-ons to boot, so we can dramatically increase the startup speed by disabling unwanted add-ons. Open the WORD2013 main interface, click file → options
Step Two: Open the Word Options dialog box and select Add-ins on the left
Step three: In the list on the right, we can see all the items that are loaded by default when Word starts, click the Go button
Step four: In the COM Add-ins dialog box that appears, you can see the Microsoft Word Pad Wizard add-in and the Microsoft Word calligraphy add-in, which we can cancel.
Step Five: Remove the check for the Microsoft Word Pad Wizard add-in and the Microsoft Word calligraphy add-in, and then click OK, and then the item will not be loaded with Word startup. In this way, Word's startup speed will naturally be greatly improved.
Step Six: So what if you want to reuse the add-ons later? Very simply, just repeat step 1-4, tick the item again, and click OK.
