How to re-enroll VMware Update Manager (VUM) into Vcenter server

In VMware's vsphere sublimation, the role of vum is equivalent to the WSUS (Windows Update server) in the Windows environment, which can be batched, automated to complete the migration of large versions of the host ESXi hosts, and the tasks of minor version upgrades are loved by administrators.

Vum also supports registering the plug-in with VMware vCenter Server application (VSA).

1. Stop vum Service on Windows Server with Vum installed

A) You can use the net stop Vmware-ufad-vci to shut down the Vum master service

b) You can use net stop Vmware-uvum-ufa to turn off Vum's UFA service

2. Find Vum Management Utility

A) Navigate to the Vum installation path, and the default will be "%programfiles%\vmware\infrastructure\update Manager"

4. Open Vum Service
