What if you accidentally removed the desktop shortcut icon when you were organizing your desktop or shortcut? If you're accustomed to using shortcut commands, it's simple-just press the "win" key + "D" next to "Ctrl" in the lower left corner to quickly switch to the desktop.
If you and I are not accustomed to using shortcut commands to switch and need to restore the "Show desktop" button, then take the following two ways:
1. Click "Start → run" to enter (or directly copy or paste) the following line in the "Run" dialog box: "regsvr32/n/i:u shell32" (without double quotes), then press "OK" or press "enter" directly, and a moment will pop up " Shell32 dllinstall Success "dialog box," Show desktop "button will be the perfect return.
2, create a new "Notepad" (click "start" → programs → accessories → Notepad), copy and paste the following code in:
[Shell]
command=2
iconfile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=toggledesktop
Then, in this new document, select click on the "File" menu in the upper left-hand corner-"Save As ..." (select "desktop" in the saving path; save type to "All Files"; save file named "Show Desktop. SCF" (with half-width double quotation marks), then drag it into the "Quick Launch bar" (i.e. half-title number "") , your desktop shortcut icon will be still intact but!
