Defined
When the optical fiber is transferred to the joint, a certain amount of loss is called weld loss or continuous loss.
Reason
The optical fiber fusion loss is mainly composed of the transmission loss of the optical fiber and the weld loss of the fiber weld joint. Because the optical fiber connection quality affects the optical fiber transmission loss's passenger limit, the optical fiber line does not relay the transmission distance and so on the parameter, therefore should reduce the optical fiber weld joint loss as far as possible, in order to ensure the fiber CATV signal transmission quality.
So how to reduce the optical fiber weld joint loss? The following methods:
1, a line as far as possible using the same batch of high-quality brand naked fiber
2, cable erection according to the requirements
3, the selection of experienced and well-trained fiber-optic continuous personnel to continue
4, the continuous optical cable should be in a clean environment
5, the use of high precision fiber end-face cutter to prepare optical fiber end
6, the correct use of welding machine
