1. Set the client network utility
Click "start"-"program", and select "client network utility" from the "Microsoft SQL Server" menu ".
Click "add" in the "alias" option ".
In "server alias", enter your website domain name, click "TCP/IP" in the "Network Library" area, and cancel "dynamic port decision" in the "connection Parameters" area ", the "port number" is 2433. After entering the information, click "OK" to save the configuration.
Ii. Use of Enterprise Manager
Click "start"-"program" and open "Enterprise Manager" in the "Microsoft SQL Server" menu ". In Enterprise Manager, right-click "SQL Server group" and choose "create SQL Server Registration ".
In the Properties window, select the "advanced" tab and set the value of "Logon timeout" to 0. As mentioned above, the remote database is connected.
The SQL Server Properties window appears. Fill in the domain name of your website in "Server" and select "use SQL Server Authentication ", enter the "Login Name" and "password" in the host activation email respectively, and then click "OK ".
After the connection is successful, you will see a Server named your website domain name in the "SQL Server group. In this case, you can manage your website database just like you do with a local SQL database.
Note:
If a timeout error occurs during connection, you can change the timeout by clicking "Tools"-"options ".
