Before introducing the two methods, there was a basic problem, that is, what conditions are required for your image as a logo?
In fact, the condition is very simple. Open your image and save it in BMP format and name it splash. But if so, the width of the progress bar when eclipse is started does not match your picture, which is ugly. It is best to set the logo size of eclipse to 455 × 342, at least to ensure the width is consistent.
The following two methods are available:
1. open the folder where your eclipse is located, open plugins, and open a folder prefixed with Org. eclipse. platform _ *** folder. For example, my eclipse3.2 is Org. eclipse. platform_3.2.0.v20060601, replace the original splash with your splash image, and re-open eclipse. Have you seen the result?
2. open the folder where your eclipse is located, open the configuration folder, and open config. INI file, find the following line # osgi. splashlocation =, replace it with osgi. splashlocation = your splash path, for example, osgi. splashlocation = E:/PIC/ME/51/1/splash.bmp. Open eclipse again. OK?
