If you use wubi to install Ubuntu, how should we restore Ubuntu after your XP system is reinstalled?

In fact, it is very easy to copy the two files wubildr. MBR and wubildr on other disks (not system disks) to the root directory of the system disk. Then, modify the boot. ini file.

How can I modify boot. ini?

Method 1: Right-click my computer, click Advanced under System Properties, click Settings under startup and fault recovery, and click Edit. A notepad will pop up.

Method 2: Open drive C, Click Tools, Folder Options, view, and remove the hidden protected operating system files (recommended). In the hidden files and folders,

Displays the files and folders used. Find the boot. ini file on drive C and open it with notepad.

My boot. ini text is as follows: (for your reference) [boot loader]
Timeout = 1
Default = multi (0) disk (0) RDISK (0) Partition (2)/Windows
[Operating systems]
Multi (0) disk (0) RDISK (0) Partition (2)/Windows = "Microsoft Windows XP Professional"/noexecute = optin/fastdetect
C:/wubildr. MBR = "ubuntu" is actually added with C:/wubildr. MBR = "ubuntu", which may not need to be modified and will be automatically added by the system. (I added the boot)

My system is on drive D, while boot. INI is on drive C.

It turns out that the boot. ini file is not on the system disk, but on the C disk.

Today, I have reinstalled the system. I copied these two files to the root directory of the system disk and then went to Ubuntu. When the two files were not copied, I couldn't
Enter ubuntu.
