If the user changes the default font in Word2013, the change will work on the Normal.dotm template file, and the changed font is applied by default in a new Word document. Users who need to restore the Word2013 initial default font can be implemented by deleting the Normal.dotm template file. Take the Windows 8 system for example, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, close all the Word2013 documents and open the Computer window. Switch to the View ribbon and select the Hidden items check box in the Show/Hide group, as shown in Figure 2013080101.

Step 2nd, open the folder C:\ user \ (current computer name) \appdata\roaming\microsoft\templates. Locate and delete the Normal.dotm template file, as shown in Figure 2013080102.

Step 3rd, open the Word2013 document window, and in the Automatically created document window, you can see that settings for default fonts, font size, and so on have been restored to the default settings for Word2013.
