When we work, we often encounter special situations, such as power outages, computer crashes, or various accidents. Then we work hard to save the document is not lost, in response to this problem, WPS of course also take into account, so built up a perfect backup function.
If the WPS Office program encounters an exceptional condition that needs to be exited, the file being used is parsed to find the error, and if it is possible to recover the information. In some cases, however, no information can be recovered.
Restarting the WPS Office program automatically pops up the Backup Management task pane, which lists all the files recovered when the program stops responding, as shown in the following illustration:
Automatically eject the Backup Management task pane
At this point, you can recover the appropriate backup files by locating the file name, backup time, and so on.
After the recovery is complete, you can choose to manually delete or delete all the backup files individually.
Other File Protection
To prevent data loss that may result from power outages or similar problems, you can further protect your work by using the scheduled backup feature to periodically save temporary backup files for files that are in use.
In the general and Save tab of the Options dialog box, set scheduled backup, time interval to save for less than 10 minutes (the default setting is to save every 10 minutes), as shown in the following illustration:

When you turn on scheduled backups, if the WPS Office program quits gracefully, the Backup Management task pane also lists all temporary backup files that have been saved before the program quits gracefully, and you can restore the appropriate backup files.
How, WPS This function is not very practical, because in life, no one can predict what will happen next, so, WPS built-in perfect backup function is really intimate design.
