Failure phenomena:
Windows 7 and Windows 8 system open Explorer after the left favorite folder has a "desktop" shortcut, in the selection of the download file save path can be very convenient to choose to desktop or Desktop folder, very useful. As shown in the following illustration:
But how do I recover this shortcut because it was deleted due to misoperation or accidental cleanup?
Solution:
1. Open the computer---C drive---user (or "users") folder, open the current login system using the user name corresponding folder, the "Lenovo" username as an example, find the "desktop" folder. (You can also directly open this folder by pressing both the Windows key and the R key to enter "%USERPROFILE%")
2. Tap the "desktop" folder, then hold down the left mouse button and drag "desktop" to the left "favorites" area. As shown in the following illustration, prompts to automatically create a shortcut when dragged to a valid location.
3. Now that the desktop shortcut has been recreated, you can click this icon to test whether the file saved by the current user's desktop is displayed. Other user name shortcuts operate in a similar manner.
