Operation Steps

If you want to migrate a workbook that has an edited macro or custom function to another computer, the most scientific method in Excel is to save it as an add-in, as follows.

When you finish editing a workbook document, click the Save button to open the Save As dialog box, set saving type to Microsoft Office Excel add-in (*.xla), and then name save.

Tips

Into the c:documents and Settingsxxxapplication Datamicrosoftaddins folder (where "XXX" is the user name), copy the add-in file to the same folder on the other computer, and use the add-in for porting.
