In OCR text recognition software ABBYY FineReader, the recognition results can be saved to a file, sent to another application, copied to the Clipboard, or sent by e-mail. You can also save the OCR results in the PPTX format. This article details how to save the recognition results in the PPTX format.
To save text in PPTX format:
On the File menu, click Save Document as, and then click Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation. Alternatively, click the arrow next to the Save button on the main toolbar, and then click Save As PPTX format. If the format you want is not displayed in the list, click Save in other formats ..., and then select the format you want from the Save as type drop-down list.
Tips:
You can use the additional save options in the Options dialog box: Click Tools > Options ..., click the Save tab, and then click the PPTX tab.
The Save options on this tab fall into the following categories:
Text Settings
Retains the original layout of the line break reservation.
Text wrapping all recognized text is placed entirely within the text block of the slide.
Keep headers and footers in the output document with headers and footers.
Picture settings
Documents that contain a large number of pictures are usually very large. To reduce the size of the file, select the desired option in the image quality group.
Tips:
To change the picture save parameter, click Customize .... In the Customize Settings dialog box, select the desired parameter and click OK.
If you do not want to keep the picture in the recognized text, make sure that the Keep picture option is not selected.
