How to set a drop cap or a first word suspension in Word 2013

In a Word2013 document, a drop cap refers to enlarging a text in the first paragraph and sinking or hanging settings to highlight the beginning of a paragraph or whole document. To set a drop cap or suspend in Word2013, the following steps are described:

Step 1th, open the Word2013 document window and position the insertion point cursor in the paragraph where you want to set the drop cap. Then switch to the Insert ribbon and click the Drop Cap button in the text group, as shown in Figure 2013080203.

Step 2nd, in the Open Drop Cap menu, click the drop or Hang option to set the drop cap or the first word hanging effect, as shown in Figure 2013080204.

3rd, if you need to set options such as the font or number of dropped lines for the dropped text, click Drop Cap Options on the drop menu to open the Drop Cap dialog box. Select the drop or Hang option and select the font or set the number of dropped rows. Click the OK button when you finish setting, as shown in Figure 2013080205.
