Do you know what this means? If you are the kind of person who will use the same password on all websites, you should change this kind of bad habit now. Change your password and get rid of this insecure habit. Internet hackers may already have your email address and password for "Full Netcom". They may even have your password to retrieve questions and answers, because you use the same password in all places, you will certainly not use different retrieval problems for different websites.
 
Using the same password on different websites is definitely not a good idea. Therefore, set a dedicated password for each website. Although it sounds complicated and too many passwords are hard to remember, it can be easily implemented through some simple tricks.
 
First, do not do the following four things about passwords:
 
1. Do not select existing words as passwords from the dictionary.
 
2. Do not use name, date of birth, age, phone number, pet name, team, or any content related to personal preferences or information as a password
 
3. Do not use the same password for websites of different purposes
 
4. Do not share your password with others.
 
The brute-force cracking tool uses dictionary attacks and hybrid dictionary attacks. That is to say, during the attack, the words in the dictionary are automatically replaced with common numbers and special symbols, and the attack is attempted. Therefore, it is absolutely insecure to replace the letters in the dictionary with numbers (for example, change "Password" to "P455w0rd !"). The password will be cracked in just a few minutes.
 
So you should do this:
 
1. First find out a sentence that you can easily remember, for example: "Motley Crue and Adam and the Ants were the soundtrack of my youth ".
 
2. Retrieve the first letter of each word: MCAAATAWTSOMY
 
 
This becomes your basic password, but we also need to make sure that the password uses both uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, such! £ $ & +, So you still need to change this password: MCaAatAwtSomY
 
Change some of the letters to numbers. For example, replace the letter "O" with the number "0": MCaAatAwtS0mY
 
Add special symbols, for example, change the original "and" to + and &: MC + A & tAwtS0mY
 
In addition, there is a special symbol available. If you use a keyboard layout for UK, you can consider using the pound symbol £, because many common brute force password cracking tools ignore this symbol (they pay great attention to the dollar symbol $), we can also add MC + A & tAwTs0mY £.
 
 
Now you have a secure password. In addition, you need to design another method to make the passwords of different websites a little different. For example, you can add the first and last letters of the website name to the beginning and end of your complex password, making the password unique and easy to remember.
 
As for password retrieval problems, they are also a common way to intrude into accounts. If you need to set an answer to a security question, make sure that the answer is safe enough. "Security" refers to the only person who can answer this question. If you can, try using the custom question. However, if you can only choose from a few questions on the website, such as "first school" or "First Pet", remember that the answer is not necessarily true, as long as you can remember it!
