How to Set wireless smart router Wan and LAN

STEP/method 1. Wan settings:

2) Open your browser and enter "192.168.1.1" in the address bar of the browser to go to the management setting interface of the smart wireless router.

3) Click WAN connection. The following dialog box is displayed, prompting you to enter the user name and password. The default account password is "admin ". Enter and click OK.

4): Enter the following interface

① -- If you are an internet cafe or residential fiber access user, the broadband service provider will provide you with detailed information such as the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and Domain Name Server, you only need to set these parameters directly on the vro.

② -- If your broadband network is directly connected to your computer, you can use this method to connect to the Internet without dialing. You can simply select ②.

③ China Telecom and China Netcom's ADSL Broadband Business usually adopt this online method, which is also used by individual residential broadband or company networks. The online PPPoE method requires the broadband service provider to provide you with the account number and password. The information must be set on the vro to enable normal internet access.

④ -- ADSL dial-up account input box, enter the account provided by the broadband provider here

⑤ -- ADSL dial-up password input box, enter the password provided by the broadband provider here

⑥ -- ADSL dialing Password confirmation box
7 -- here is the option of network vanguard. It is a software that prevents users from accessing the Internet through multiple computers on the router to make it easier for some broadband service providers to use network Vanguard, click Enable to crack the network Vanguard, which is usually used in the North.
Secret -- this is designed to make it easy for users to forget their passwords. The ciphertext entered in the password box is displayed.

Set the following settings by default.
Click Save and restart the vro. Or click the application directly. Ii. LAN Settings:
1): Click the LAN on the left to go to the settings page below. Set the parameters as follows or set the parameters by yourself. Remember to save the settings. ① -- IP Address: the router's own address. The default value is enough.
② -- Subnet mask: The subnet mask controls the number of hosts that can be accommodated in the network. If there is no special need, keep the default value.
③ -- Start IP Address: the IP address allocated from the first computer.
④ Number of hosts allowed to access the computer: You can enter the corresponding number of computers to effectively control the number of computers online.
⑤ -- Default Gateway: there is no special need to fill in the router's own address.
⑥ -- Binding settings: You can bind an IP address to the specified host, and enter the MAC address and IP address pair of the host to be bound.

This is the most effective method to prevent network attacks. Remember to save and modify the information after filling in the information.
