How to Set full-text search for SQL Server

Take the full-text search of SQL database on your computer as an example.

If full-text retrieval has been installed when SQL Server is installed, skip this step. If full-text retrieval is not set when SQL Server is installed, you can reinstall it by placing it on the SQL Server installation disc and clicking the Install button on the installation page that appears. When setting the installation type, see the following figure:

When you select the custom mode, component options will appear in the next step. You must check the full-text retrieval feature, for example:

Then you can click Next to perform the default installation. After the installation is complete, you must be able to use the full-text search function.
