Take Canon PIXMA MP145 as an example
1. Go to start-directly find [printer and fax] to enter, as shown in the following figure: (If the Start menu does not exist, you can go to start-set-control panel to find it)
2. Go to the printer and fax center, right-click and choose share ]:
4. Go to the printer sharing page, click "share this printer", enter the sharing name "lichaoMP140", and click "OK:
5. Return to "printer and fax center", as shown in the figure below (a drag icon is added to the printer icon, indicating that the printer sharing setting has been successful ):
How do other computers in the Lan find and use the shared printer?
1. Obtain the IP address of the shared printer computer.
Start -- run, enter "cmd press enter" in the running process, press enter, and enter "ipconfig" in the pop-up window. Then, press enter, as shown in the figure below:
Click "Start-run", and the following figure is displayed:
In the run dialog box, enter the IP address of the shared printer computer:
After confirming, you can find the shared printer, as shown in the figure below.
Now it's almost over. Now we can start testing and printing on this computer. When we select a printer, we can select a shared printer, as shown in the figure below.
