This site demonstrates two ways to set up. one is QQ mail (basically everyone has it) and the other is enterprise mail (I bought a space for free)

First come to QQ mailbox

First, go to the QQ mailbox and set the QQ mailbox, as shown in figure

Click "settings" at the top of the QQ mailbox, and select "account" to set the default account. Remember, it is best not to close the number, and then set the POP3/IMAP/SMTP service, as shown in figure

Select Enable POP3/SMTP service and Enable IMAP/SMTP service, and click Save Changes to close the QQ mailbox.

Log on to discuz with the administrator account! In the background, select global> email settings, as shown in figure

Select the SOCKET connection to the SMTP server for sending (ESMTP authentication supported ).

Enter "smtp.qq.com" as the default port on the SMTP server.

SMTP server requires authentication options: Yes

Enter your qq email account as the sender's email address. you 'd better enter your default account.

SMTP Authentication username: your QQ number. if you disable a digital account, you can go to the QQ mailbox to enable it.

SMTP authentication password: your QQ password. if you set up an independent QQ mailbox password, enter the one you set up.

Email header separator: you can adjust the settings according to the mailbox server.

Enterprise mail settings:

In fact, enterprise mail and QQ mail settings are similar, but a parameter change is slightly different. The following is a simple example.

Domain name resolution, MX records, and mailbox settings will not be mentioned. if you don't ask the service provider, they will solve it for you.

First, go to your service provider and get all the parameters, such as SMTP server, port, and server system.

The sending method is the same as that of QQ mail. it is sent by connecting to the SMTP server through SOCKET (ESMTP verification is supported)

SMTP server: Go to your service provider, some websites, some IP addresses

Ports are generally default, but it is best to ask

SMTP server requires authentication: Yes

Sender email address: add the email address you set

SMTP Authentication username: Generally, you have to enter all your email addresses. when I set this for the first time, only the email name is entered here. In fact, you should enter all the email addresses.

The verification password is your enterprise email password.

Email header separator: it can be set according to the system of the server. You can use other default values.

You still need to modify the config. inc. php file, and then update the cache.

Enterprise mail requires two options: SMTP server: and SMTP Authentication username: do not fill in the error.
