How to set the bash display to not show the vim text after exit?

Xshell Client in vim Edit file save exit, still display text content instead of back to Shell terminal terminal.

The solution is as follows:

  • User1 is a using term=xterm, in this case when you exit vim it'll clear the terminal.
  • User2 is a using term=vt100, in this case when you exit Vim it won't clear the terminal.

Specific operation:

1,vim ~/.BASHRC

Editor: term= ' Xterm-color '

Save exit

2, start new Bash:bash
