How to set the XP system power-on password?

Now in order to prevent people from using your computer to view your information, you can choose to give your system a boot password so it is safe.

You can also prevent others from peeking at your files or privacy.

Set the password first by opening the Start menu, and then clicking on the top of your user name or icon on the Start menu.

Then a "User account" window appears, the "previous step" in the upper-left corner of the window.

If your XP has not yet created a password then select "Create Password" here.

Then enter the password you want to set, and in the second box again to lose your password to confirm that you did not input the password error, if two times the input is different then it will prompt you to re-enter.

Change Password: Open the User Account window, you can also use this method: Start-Control Panel

Then find the "user account" from the control Panel, which is located in the lower-left corner of the diagram.

Select your account will appear in the following figure, because the password has been set, here you can choose to "Change my password"

Also because you have set the password, in order to confirm that you are the owner of this user, you need to enter the user name of the original password.

Then enter a new password and retype it to confirm that your password is correct.

The password question is optional, and you can do it without losing someone.

Click "Change Password" to change the password is complete.

Delete a password if you're too bothered to enter a password that day, then you can delete your password.

Select Delete Password only if you want to open the User Account window in the above method

Then enter the current username password, select "Delete Password" to complete the deletion of the password.
